Preschool Gymnastics Program
At Alamo Gymnastics Center, our preschool gymnastics program is designed to offer a structured, engaging, and fun introduction to gymnastics for young children. We focus on building foundational skills, promoting physical development, and fostering a love for movement in a safe and nurturing environment. Our program is thoughtfully divided into three levels to cater to different age groups and developmental stages, ensuring each child receives the appropriate level of attention and instruction.
Walking to Age 2.5
Sidekicks
This “Mommy and Me” class is designed for our youngest gymnasts, focusing on early motor skill development in a fun and supportive environment. Parents actively participate alongside their children, helping them explore basic gymnastics movements, balance, and coordination. This class fosters a strong foundation of trust and interaction between parent and child.

Ages 2.5 - 3.5
Shining Stars
In the Shining Stars class, young gymnasts begin to build independence while continuing to develop their motor skills and coordination. The focus is on introducing fundamental gymnastics movements through playful activities and age-appropriate challenges, all while promoting social interaction and confidence in a structured setting.

Ages 3.5 - 4.5
Super Stars
Super Stars are ready for a bit more challenge! This class continues to enhance the gymnasts’ basic skills, introducing them to more complex movements and gymnastics equipment. The emphasis is on building strength, flexibility, and coordination in a fun and encouraging environment, setting the stage for continued growth in gymnastics.

Stellar Stars
Stellar Stars take their gymnastics journey to the next level with a focus on refining skills and increasing physical abilities. This class introduces gymnasts to more advanced techniques and sequences, helping them develop confidence and a strong sense of achievement as they master new challenges.

Ages 5.5 - 6
Advanced Stars
The Advanced Stars class is a transitional program designed for gymnasts who are ready to move from preschool classes to the big gym. Gymnasts will warm up in their designated area before advancing to the larger gym equipment for event rotations. This class ensures that older preschoolers get the focused attention they need to thrive as they prepare for the next stage of their gymnastics journey.
